The Communion Rite - Part C
Reception of Communion
The Celebrant makes a reverence, takes the paten in one hand and the Host in the other, raises the Host towards the Christians and says aloud:
Z: Qĭng kàn, Tian-zhŭ dė gao-yáng. Qĭng kàn, chú-miăn shì-zuì zhĕ. Méng-zhào lái fù Shèng-yàn dė rén, shì yŏu-fú-dė.
Z: 請看,天主的羔羊;請看,除免世罪者。
蒙召來赴聖宴的人,是有福的。
ZX: Zhŭ, wŏ dang-bù-qĭ Nĭ dào wŏ xin-lĭ lái, zhĭ-yào Nĭ shuo yí-jù-huà, wŏ dė líng-hún jìu-huì quán-yù.
ZX: 主,我當不起祢到我心裏來,只要祢說一句話,
我的靈魂就會痊癒。
The Celebrant facing the altar prays silently:
Yùan Ji-du dė Shèng-tĭ, hù-yòu wŏ dé-dào yŏng-sheng.
願基督的聖體,護祐我得到永生。
The Celebrant receives the Body of Christ.
The Celebrant takes the chalice and prays silently:
Yùan Ji-du dė Shèng-xiĕ, hù-yòu wŏ dé-dào yŏng-sheng.
願基督的聖血,護祐我得到永生。
The Celebrant receives the Precious Blood.
Distribution of Holy Communion
When the Celebrant distributes Holy Communion, he uses the same formula.
Z: Ji-du Shèng-tĭ. 基督聖體。X: A-mėn.
After the distribution of Holy Communion, the Celebrant, a Deacon or an acolyte cleanses the paten over the chalice and purifies the chalice. After the purification, the Celebrant prays silently:
Shàng-zhŭ, qíu sì wŏ-mėn yì-ke chún-jié-dė xin, yĭ yíng-jie wŏ-mėn suŏ lĭng-shòu dė shén-liáng, shĭ zhè zhàn-shì-dė yĭn-shí chéng-wéi yŏng-sheng dė liáng-yào.
Meditation or Hymn of Thanksgiving
The Celebrant and the people may sit down and pray for a while or sing a hymn of praise, or a hymn of thanksgiving to the Blessed Sacrament.
Prayer After Communion
The Celebrant stands before his chair or before the altar.
Z: Qĭng dà-jia qí-dăo. 請大家祈禱。
The Celebrant, provided no time has yet been devoted to silent prayer, will now indicate a short period for silent prayer.)
The Celebrant extends his hands and prays the “Post-Communion Prayer” using a short ending.
X: A-mėn.
Concluding Rite
Short announcements may be made.
Greeting
The Celebrant facing the people with extended hands, blesses them saying:
Z: Yùan Zhŭ yŭ nĭ-mėn tóng-zài. 願主與你們同在。
X: Yĕ yŭ nĭ-dė xin-líng tóng-zài. 也與你的心靈同在。
Blessing (Simple Form)
The Celebrant blesses them.
Z: Yùan qúan-néng-dė Tian-zhŭ, Shèng-fù, Shèng-zĭ X, Shèng-shén, jiàng-fú nĭ-mėn.
願全能的天主,聖父、聖子X、聖神,降福你們。
X: A-mėn.
The form of this blessing on special feast days may be changed to a more solemn form or to a prayer over the people.
Dismissal
Either the Celebrant or a Deacon facing the congregation says:
Z: Mí-sa lĭ chéng. 彌撒禮成。
X: Găn-xiè Tian-zhŭ. 感謝天主。
The Celebrant and the servers make a reverence to the altar and leave.
